Explanation of our Programming Staff

AWCS.net offers a variety of programming services and programmers. Below is an explanation of the different types of programmers we have available and their associated rates.

Data Entry Specialist

At times our clients need data entry services. With our in depth understanding of AbleCommerce we can assist you in getting everything from products and prices to shipping tables and price changes. Our Data Entry Specialists work closely with either one of our Administrators or Developers.

AbleCommerce Administrator:

Our AbleCommerce Administrators have a wide area of expertise. They have detailed knowledge of the various settings within AbleCommerce Merchant Admin area. Much of this is non programming but due to its detailed and sometimes complex nature it requires and experienced professional to fully and completely setup some functions. In addition to their detailed knowledge of the Admin area they can create the look and feel of the web site using AbleCommerce themes and CSS controls. They also have a high level of competency in HTML programming and some skills in the more advanced programming languages used in AbleCommerce.

Senior AbleCommerce Administrator

Senior AbleCommerce Administrators have all of the skills outlined above but have at least 5 years of experience in working with AbleCommerce at experience with 3 different versions of AbleCommerce. They also possess a higher level of expertise in the advanced languages.

AbleCommerce Developer

AbleCommerce Developer at AWCS.NET is a well-rounder programmer with several years of working experience in AbleCommerce versions 4.0, 5.5 and now 7.0. Our developers have in-depth knowledge on the AbleCommerce eCommerce platform at the user layer, administration layer, the database layer and the code layer. They have experience customizing the eCommerce software in both the Wizard version (with inline ASP.NET code) as well as the Codebehind version (with ASP.NET codebehind). They are highly trained on the Microsoft platform - both on .NET framework 1.1 and 2.0 (both VB.NET and C#.NET). and have working experience in writing independent Windows-based applications and .NET webservices.
