At AWCS.net, we operate with the philosophy:

We have been in the business of building successful ecommerce websites
since 1998 and have found the most dynamic and fastest changing part
of this industry to be the search engines.
We used to offer Search Engine Optimization (SEO services) - until
we found out that what we just learned last month had changed to the
exact opposite this month. We were very good at getting visitors to
the successful ecommerce websites we built in the early days of the
web, but keeping up on all of the various search engine algorithms
and techniques for satisfying them was rapidly becoming a full time
job.
Today, the search engine marketing field has changed dramatically
and become extremely complex. It is our belief that you need to be
working with a company that specializes and spends full time working
in this field. A company that says they can both build your website
and do your search engine marketing may do both OK, but they will
not do both well. In my opinion, it's very hard to be best of the
best in both areas, jack-of-all-trades and masters of none, as they
say.
Since we work only with clients who do ecommerce, we are a prime
target for all of the Search Engine Expert companies. I have talked
with many of them. There are a lot of scams out there that do not
produce results, but will take your money. We realize that our clients
desperately need the services of an SEO firm, but don't always know
where to go. I get asked all the time, "I have talked to several companies,
but I'm not really sure what we need". As a resource for our clients,
we created this listing of Search Engine Experts.
I am not saying there are not other good companies out there (and
we will update this page as we come across them), but I can vouch
for each one listed on this page. Two of them have worked with us
on our site and the others I have known for over 5 years. I have seen
all of them in action and they do get results. These are companies
that work in the search engine marketing field every day of every
week.
